Neck lift

Neck Lift surgery corrects the signs of aging on the neck. It often accompanies Face Lift surgery for a more comprehensive facial rejuvenation. This is designed to reduce the look of loose, sagging skin.

The essence of the operation is that the surgeon lifts the skin on the neck, tightens the subcutaneous tissues with internal stitches and removes the thus created excess skin.

The neck lift takes about two to three hours to perform. It can be performed under general or local anesthesia with sedation, according to the character of the procedure and your own personal comfort level. Because of the location of the incisions there is little to no noticeable T-shape scarring following the operation.

Neck lift surgery is normally an out-patient procedure and any swelling and bruising lasts a couple of days, although stitches come out after a week or ten days.

The final result can be amazing; you may also look slimmer because you will have a nice tight skin instead of a loose skin which can make people look obese.
